TD-128 Composite Damping Steel Plate

I. Product Composition

TD128 composite damping steel plate is a functional material composed of three layers: an upper steel plate, a middle polymer damping material, and a lower steel plate. The steel plates used in the product can be various cold-rolled plates, electro-galvanized plates, hot-dip galvanized plates, stainless steel plates, as well as composites of stainless steel and ordinary plates. The product thickness can be either uniform or differential composite.

II. Product Characteristics

Composite damping steel plate effectively combines the characteristics of metal materials and polymer materials. It retains the mechanical properties and processing formability of metal materials while possessing the damping characteristics of polymer materials, making it an ideal environmentally friendly product for replacing metal materials in vibration and noise scenarios.

TD128 composite damping steel plate is made by combining viscoelastic damping adhesive developed by Tongda Damping Company with steel plates. According to tests conducted by the Acoustics Research Institute of Tongji University, the vibration attenuation of the frequency response characteristic curve of TD128 damping steel plate is as follows: force transmissibility is 50.8%, vibration attenuation ratio is 0.51, and vibration damping efficiency is 49.2%. The vibration attenuation of its first-order vibration modal curve is: force transmissibility is 5.1%, vibration attenuation ratio is 0.05, and vibration damping efficiency is 94.9%.

Composite damping steel plates are supplied in flat sheets, typically delivered by theoretical weight, but can also be delivered by actual weight. Common specifications are thickness = 0.8～3mm, length = 1000～2000mm, width = 1000～1200mm. If customers have special requirements, custom sizes can be processed accordingly.
